How does Green Dot Corporation collect my personal information?	We collect your personal information, for example, when you Open an account or pay your bills use your card or provide account information give us your contact information We also collect your personal information from other companies.
Why can’t I limit all sharing? Affiliates	Companies related by common ownership or control. They can be financial and nonfinancial companies. Green Dot Corporation does not share with our affiliates.
Nonaffiliates	Companies not related by common ownership or control. They can be financial or nonfinancial companies. Green Dot Corporation does not share with nonaffiliates so they can market to you.
Joint marketing	A formal agreement between nonaffiliated financial companies that together market financial products or services to you. Green Dot Corporation doesn’t jointly market.

Depending on where you live, you may have additional privacy protections under state law. We will comply with applicable state laws before sharing nonpublic personal information about you.
